Perkins+Will; Atlanta, GA
Intern (Summer 2008)
Participated in schematic design phase of King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz University for Health and
Sciences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tasks on the project were: creating programmatic
diagrams for the client presentation; working on the master plan development with design
principle and other team members (responsible for CAD master plan development); in a team
of two developed the schematic design of the Clinical Skills Development building.

RESEARCH PROJECTS
Thesis Work (masters in Architecture): "ANALYSIS DATA AS DESIGN GENERATOR"
SCAD, Savannah, GA ( Spring 2010)
- mastered a vast amount of analysis applications (environmental, finite element method, fluid dynamics, etc)
- constantly worked with various analysis data and its patterns
- programmed custom tools (using VB.NET and OpenNurbs kernel) for applying the analysis data in architectural design process
- created several project management tools (.NET plug-ins for Rhino4)
- designed and developed “Building Program Solver”: a class library (VB.NET) based on evolutionary algorithms (using Rhino4 SDK and OpenNurbs library) that solves arrangement of building program components based on environmental data
- designed, developed and manufactured a ‘smart’ responsive curtain wall component that responds to solar radiation levels and reduces interior glare penetration
- using Java/Processing and Arduino platform programmed software for user interaction with the ‘responsive’ curtain wall system, its interaction with sensors and microcontrollers, and system’s diagnostics
